There are always several first-time shooters in every class, so if you’re a beginner this is a great place to start.  We recommend that you take this class prior to making your decision on purchasing the right handgun for you.

Class will break for lunch for about an hour.  You are welcome to bring your own but there are plenty of restaurants close by that you can go to as well.

When you leave our CCW class, you will have everything you need to go get your CCW license including your completed application, a passport-sized application photo (a $9 savings) and your certificate of training.

The cost of the course is only $65. There are no hidden or extra costs.

We look forward to seeing you!

This course centers around the safe, responsible and efficient use of the rifle or carbine for defensive purposes. Topics include but are not limited to: sighting systems (optics and irons),recoil management, tactical and emergency reloads, reduction of malfunctions and ammunition selection. Modern sporting rifles such as the AR-15 and other semi-automatics have strengths that are unknown to many users. We can teach you how to run the gun effectively. If you are an experienced rifle user it serves as a great refresher and skills update.

Rifle theory and technique have changed drastically in the last decade, making the interface between you and the rifle much more efficient. We incorporate the most effective tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP’s) in the course of instruction.

Live-fire is conducted at the realistic close-quarters distances encountered in defensive scenarios with an emphasis on threat identification and the engagement sequence for single and multiple targets.

The instructors for this course have a combined total of over 40 years of Law Enforcement, Military and competition use of carbines and rifles.

This course also offers the option of teaching the proper techniques for transitioning from your rifle to your handgun. While not mandatory, if you would like to learn this skill, you are free to bring a handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition, and a proper holster.

Quality .22Lr. clones of most full size platforms are also welcome, this is due to the current cost of ammunition and the fact that the quality clones have identical manipulations mimicking their big brothers.

Please bring around 250 rounds of ammunition.
